Americus Grille in Brighton

This is the best place I've ever went to that gives you the biggest portion of chicken for your salad if I could give this place 10 stars I would the chicken was amazing too! Waiter was funny and nice !

Every server working today was so rude. Our server had a serious attitude, the table across from us had a server that was so impatient and rude to them, and same with the couple that was in the booth on the opposite side of the restaurant. Also, our food was cold even though it got to our table quickly. Who knows how that even happens. The food was good and the portions were big, but the experience passed that sucked.

Waitress was wonderful and made sure we always recieved what we needed. Will go back!

Great place for breakfast, lots of fresh choices and food was hot and delicious and large servings. Good coffee too. Great service was nice.

My wife and I visited on the recommendation of other Google reviews. We were not disappointed!!! We ended up getting lunch, I had the hot roast beef sandwich and my wife ordered the chicken strip dinner. Both entrees came with a soup so we ordered the chicken noodle soup.Honestly, the BEST chicken noodle soup I've ever had...spiral egg noodles with quality chicken, perfectly seasoned! The hot roast beef was quite delicious, thickly stacked, lean beef with rich gravy on top. The potatoes were thick and rich, also dressed with the same gravy. I couldn't finish the whole plate because I was so full, being the portions are so generous. My sole "complaint" would be the parking, parking is a premium directly on the property. However, going early on a Sunday affords more parking for patrons to park on adjacent business parking lots since those businesses are closed.Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

The atmosphere, speed of service, friendly waitstaff and delicious food deserve top ratings. The chicken philly sandwich was huge! The chicken was perfectly flavored and tender. The entire sandwich and big plate of crispy fries came fresh and hot off the grill. I wish I took pics, but didn't. We will definitely be returning.

Delicious & crispy fish and chips. Perfect salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons ... couldn't have asked for a better meal!! The bread basket was great too 😁

First-timer. Excellent pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. Excellent service and quick food delivery even though the place was packed. Definitely go back for breakfast!

Menu has a broad selection of food. Breakfast is always large portions and they have a fantastic grilled chicken pita! You can save with their 15% off of your bill coupon, which is also easy to find. Ask for Jennie, a wonderful server who always gives the best service.

Good food, but the place is not maintained all that well. As an example the front door has been broken for a couple months. It took years to replace the soap dispenser in the men's room, which is now broken again.

Had coney dogs - they were bad (not coney sauce but some chili sauce that had a slight sweetness to it, but did use a quality hot dog). Good onion rings and fries, the turkey wrap was good and the gyros plate was meh. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had the large shrimp. Its was excellent

This is a great little place. Great food, great service, very clean. I am from out of state and met a friend there. Loved it!!

They did a very good job on a grilled cheese sandwich. The cheese covered the bread which doesn't happen that often. Do trythe onion rings, they are delicious.

I usually get the turkey dinner when I go here which is good but they changed the gravy so now it's so-so. They have great food and portions but some of the staff seem unhappy and someone needs to replace some light bulbs (always a bunch out)

What value! Had a great breakfast. The two egg w/bacon, hash browns, and toast $3.99. It’s your basic American breakfast done perfectly. I judge on proper egg cookery and they nailed my over mediums. Service was quick, friendly, and place very clean.

The jerky chicken salad with cartilage garnish, was phenomenal. Topped with watered down Greek dressing, I'll definitely be back, to hang myself from the ceiling fan.

Good place to eat, must be, sure are busy on a Sunday morning. They give Veteran discounts and 15percent if you have there flyier. Tip the waitress good!!

Good burgers and fries. The steak is always cooked to "well done" no matter how you order it. Bacon is usually pretty hard. Decent corned beef sandwich. Excellent, friendly service, good prices.

The food is ok, nothing special. The place is dreary and dark - makes me feel it is not clean. One the upside, they do donate to local charities - kudos for that.

My restaurant review are always based on what the restaurant is, so my 5 starts does not mean this is equivalent to the London Chop House. We eat breakfast here regularly because the design-it-yourself omelet has become our favorite. (Bacon, mushroom, and Swiss - try it!) The coffee is excellent. The service is top notch.

It is an average diner, but for some reason I never really get good service. The service staff gives me some attitude it seems. I mean, I get it... You probably don't want to be there waiting on my over medium egg wanting butt... I would just rate it higher if the service was a little friendlier.

We came here with a group of four at dinner time but ended up eating breakfast because it looked so good. The three egg omelet and hash browns were definitely big enough for dinner.my wife ordered her hash browns extra crispy oh, and they delivered. My only complaint was that the sausages in my omelet were cut up little sausage links that didn't taste very fresh. Otherwise the food was very good.I had a cup of coffee. It definitely wasn't gourmet, wasn't hot, and after 1/2 refill didn't get refilled again.This is a great place if you want to just talk. There is no loud music and the ambiance is enjoyable.Our waitress was friendly and quick and made everyone's experience positive.

Michigan state Police were eating lunch. We bought them lunch for there service to the community.

The food was great, the waitress was even better because she was super nice and super helpful. Prices are about the same as every other Coney / Diner. Great portion sizes. Great interior and atmosphere outside of weird people staring at you.

The restaurant here in Brighton has a great atmosphere. It is a elegant, but casual restaurant. They provide great service and the menu is very complete. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. My only suggestion (my personal opinion) would be to have healthy alternatives (i.e turkey bacon/sausage, whole wheat items, etc). Overall, it's a great place to have a meal in a nice atmosphere.

Oh my was this such a disappointment. The building itself is super clean and updated. Love the look. Food came out looking outstanding but once I lifted mynsandwhich up the soggy bread dripped juices from the heaping pile of pickles and overly running coleslaw. Had to send my sandwich back as it was falling apart bread was so soggy. Hare seeing such a good meal get tossed in the trash due to something so dumb. 😭

Great staff as I sat myself when I came inside the door. The food was wonderful as I had the Olive Burger and Fries. The coleslaw wasn't to my liking but still had a ok taste. Still a 5 Star rating in my book
